Another victory for those determined to ensure that Tasmania is forever subsidised by the rest of Australia and effectively a giant national park with a third of the occupants completely welfare dependent and the rest largely working for the public service. Apparently 10% of all private companies are completely dependent on government contracts (http://www.examiner.com.au/story/1275148/bleak-view-of-states-destiny/) as well.
At some point the rest of the nation will have to wake up to itself and break the cycle ... but I can't see it happening any time soon.
