I don't know anything for sure but could give you two guesses:
1) ANZ outperformed the other big banks last week, and this is just a bit of a correction.
2) Investors might be pessimistic about the report due next Tuesday, particularly with respect to results from the super-regional strategy.
The next day or two will give a better indication of which of these is the more likely cause.
