"Australias Zinifex said there would be delays in bringing on new supplies to meet strong market demand.The companies Ceo said it was difficult to start new projects quickly,while many potential projects faced technical challenges or high costs.Zinifex itself is investigating a substantial zinc deposit in Queensland,but it would not be producing before 2010 or 2011,the companies CEO said".
Looks like anyone bringing on new supply prior to 2008 will have the whip hand in any off-take negotiations.
