The fluctuating USD has decimated the SP of late. But am I right in saying that we needn't worry about USD to AUD exchange rate until ex div time comes round? In fact a weakening USD helps the EUR conversion rate which is vital for a third of Ansell's earnings.
So why is the market so viciously overreacting to the falling USD? Has the market got it wrong?
