Nobody can deny the awful way this case was handled 10 years in, but there are so often two sides to the story.
The families are the ones to carry the worst of the burden, as we can imagine.
Tempers are getting frayed on here, but we'll let it run as it's an emotional issue. For that I tend to blame the ridiculous amount of media coverage it's been given, as so many people just sponge up everything they hear on the TV and can't think independently.(imo)
I appealed for clemency, along with many, due to the shocking time delays, and pure evil of the waiting game played out to mess with everyone's psyche, but let's remember how many people are killed from heroin overdoses annually world wide and say we need to try to deter it.
Unlikely that this will be more than a short term deterrent as greed steps up and young kids are faced with the fact that they'll do so much for money, as they see themselves as immortal.
What if a drug lord / leader / dealer was pressuring your own grand daughter, little sister, son, niece etc to be involved? You could only hope they had the strength to say no and walk away, but...
