Does Thred have any substance?

Hi guys,

First post on HC after lurking for a while.  I bought PRA at 0.7c  a couple of days ago with the plan to hold until next Friday but panicked at today's news that Lanstead Capital were selling off; sold at 0.8c to recoup my initial investment and still have a tiny holding.

The reason for my jitters?  I'm worried that we're playing a "greater fool" game; that Thred has nothing of substance to offer and we're accumulating on the hope that others will get sucked in by the dotcom hype.  That once PRA completes due diligence, they will pull out and the stock will become worthless.

What I've discovered so far:
Thredit Ltd is a company founded in HK a month ago: http://www.hkcompany.org/co.php?id=2215042
Their website at thred.cc has minimal content and could have been put together in a few hours by any semi-competent web designer.  It has a rather dismal-looking mock app screenshot.  Signing up for beta doesn't even result in a confirmation email... is it even functional?
Their blog has one post, from September 2014, which reads as promotional material for their offices.  There is nothing relating to their work or app.
Their Facebook and Twitter accounts are also bereft of information or recent updates.
thred.it is a website shell with a different logo, probably owned by a different company.

I've heard posters compare it to Brainchip, thanks to "machine learning engines and a neural network that learns user’s preferences, providing a more targeted and satisfying messaging and sharing experience."  Again, I can find no evidence that this already exists, nor that if it does, that it could be anything beyond the learning algorithms already employed in Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Even worse, there is already an app called "Thred", headed by Will Wright (founder of Maxis and creator of Sim City...)

Can anyone produce evidence to support the optimism around Thred?  I love a success story, but I just can't see it here.  Happy to be corrected and make a profit!
