FIRST DOG SHOWS SUPPRESSION OF CANCER MARKER
PharmAust Limited ("PharmAust" or "the Company")) (ASX: PAA & PAAO) is pleased to announce that further to its approval from the Department of Primary Industries (NSW) to amend the current canine trial protocol for the treatment of cancer in dogs (announced 13th April 2015), the first dog treated under the new protocol has demonstrated approximately a 40% reduction in tumour marker p70S6K after only three days of treatment. This is the first evidence that PPL-1 is active in canines by suppressing a tumour marker.
