All I can say is that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it, and the history of AI for at least the last half century is the failure of great promise.
I am simply saying that as someone who has built and trained neural networks there are fundamental problem, greater that just raw speed, that need to be overcome.
I remain healthily skeptical, and intend to do further research on the technical specifics. In the meantime it has all the hallmarks of a marketing bonanza. Great opportunity for traders to make squillions on the wild swings, less sure of the prospects for long term investors believing in the technology.
