I think we can also compare it to LNG.

On the 5th May, 2014 LNG announces a placement of $49.5 mil at 55 cents (share price was 67 cents) to US instos through Fosters. Nearly 3 months later on the 30th July LNG announces another placement of $38.6 mil at $2.60 to US instos when the share price was at $3.25. The share price on the first day of this placement rose to $3.94 !

AJX as with LNG has/had US instos hammering at the door saying they want in through a placement with a few options thrown in. In LNG's case they continued to buy on market after the placements from ill informed Aussie instos and short term traders who subjected to continuous downramping. My broker contacts even last week were telling me that LNG was overpriced and hedge funds were looking for stock (been burnt badly). I can see this pattern of placement and buying continuing here.

We have the same people ( Fosters and Eddie) behind these placements and we have very similar stories. Misunderstood technologies and opportunities in Australia but not in the US.
