I agree madbutcher, the report from the Marine Renewables Infrastructure Network proves that they are a lot closer than was thought. As well, they are being given some excellent support from a network of the world's leading marine energy companies and institutions whose goal it is to create a new industry.
Just consider how much has already been done toward achieving this aim. The likes of WaveHub, WavePOD and the Flo Wave test tank represent the most concerted effort anywhere in the world in this field.
Carnegie Wave Energy's CETO 6 wave energy converter is one of a very small number of technologies chosen to make this happen.
