It is a major contribution to this debate. I have read it twice now and will give it another read just so that it all sinks in.
So many good points that we need to go into. One I really liked
"FTTH (the fiber network) is the ultimate technology "end game", providing
more bandwidth than one could ever dream of and the most "future-proof" solution...
I doubt very much if the "magnificent seven" will build the network themselves and TLS won't build it with them.
Hey it's our money, we do what we like with it. Stuff the other telco providers.
I would say TLS will eventually build it give a good deal from the ACCC in regard to on selling it to other telcos though.
No one will ever build another asset with such bandwidth and once it is established that will be it. TLS will have a monopoly for ever.
If you can't see long term value in that you must be blind.
