The main issue is percutaneous administration vs the more complex way that Sirtex administers it - so it can be a commercial threat to Sirtex. Also the OSL patent allows for administration of the same radioisotope as Sirtex uses... as long as it has a bit of P32 thrown in (I havent looked at the patent for a while but that is my recollection as I asked the question to someone who used to work at OSL).
I suspect Sirtex wouldnt be interested but another pharmaceutical company or similar might.
However currently OSL doesnt have a lot of runs on the board and are still quoting a study from almost 10 years ago.
