Whatever capacity current Li-ion batteries have... it will be double when Tesla start pumpimg out 200,000 cars/annum. But still small fry. Big story is houshold and grid storage. We'll capture the sun on our roof panels and store to use that evening in a battery about one cubic metre in size. Only link we'll need is wireless to download stuff.
