Good to see an Australian company doing good in the global sense in this area.

I did a little background reading on the history of Penthrox (methoxyflurane) and it seems very interesting that Australia and NZ persevered with its safe and successful use for a slightly different application (analgesia) at lower dose rates than when it was used for anaesthetic prior to the 1970's. Also interesting to note that the FDA in USA in 2005 pulled it from the market "for safety concerns".

I wonder who (big pharma??) lobbied who to have it axed in the USA, the decision which more than likely flowed through and affected in its adoption /use elsewhere up to now.
