Contrarian bet on retail, page-2

Hi Roulette

Only been trading a few months now so I don't have a longer term track record.
I have been buying stocks at what appears (to me ) to be all time lows.
For example...Santos at $6.98 a few weeks ago...now $9.10
Fortescue at $1.83 a few weeks ago...now $2.60
Myer at $1.31 about 6 weeks ago...now $1.37...hoping it will go to about $2.00 in 12 months.
Have gone in very heavily with Metcash and average buy in at $1.32...hoping this goes to $2.20 over 12 months.

My sophisticated strategy..."it couldn't possibly go lower than this...could it?"

Or alternatively, buy when everyone else is selling...so a contrarian view.

If I am still here in 12 months it means i didn't lose all my money.
