It is now clear that the politicians can't resist the honey pot that is peoples retirement savings. Sooner or later the ALP will get into government and renege on the super deal.
People put money into their super funds, locked it out of their own reach on the promise that they could have it back later tax free. It is now obvious they should have been spent it because the politicians will break their word. Australian politicians always reward those who piss their money away rather than save. Up with the battlers, down with the rich.
The ALP say this change of the rules doesn't matter because it only affects the rich. If the rich were to be excluded from the deal they should have been told before putting their money in.
You would have to be nuts to lock money away in super and hope you can get it out in 20 years.
