The author of that article doesn't seem to have done much research as was obvious from his lack of knowledge about the binding offtake agreements that MNS has.
It seems to me that the graphite market outside of China has been small until now and so there aren't too many analysts that really understand the future of graphite. All their research is based on the current market size.
I don't have a clue about the future market size either but if Sinoma have taken the trouble to sign a binding offtake agreement and agree to stump up $150M to build a mine, then I'm willing to bet that there must be a demand coming. Add to that all the talk about Powerwall and Giga factories then surely we must be onto something.
