Nabaru01 , i believe you are correct, as the gold is very concentrated , ( statistical nugget effect ) and confined within the quartz veins ,that the traditional method for determining volume & grade by multiple spaced drilling would be inaccurate, as its likely many drill passes could hit very high density gold concentrations or miss the vein altogether, thus you determining this method as being to variable is spot on , ABM I think rightfully determined this method would be a waist of time and money, and capital would be better spent on literally trial mining the deposit for a more accurate outcome, but unfortunately even this absolute mining outcome does not allow conversion to being JORC compliant ,but i will state that after many years swinging minelab detectors myself and speaking with many an old timer that they all state the same thing , that is the larger the the gold specimen recovered the closer you are to the source and the less distance the gold has moved or traveled over time , and it is therefore imo very exciting as abu could literally expose extremely high density /high volume gold (otherwise known as the mother lode ) while mining old pirate and or its other known at surface high grade deposits.
