Major Gold stocks in USA didn't move because

Van eck/ gdx/lost a few million shares on issue in the etf, that's what controls the gold stock moves. Of late everything in their gdxj basket has been running hard month on month, everything in gdx basket here has lagged seriously

The manner in which it operate gives them the ability to put the prices exactly where they want it as they make super profits between themselves, etf holders are always wondering why it doesn't track the basket

As money comes into the sector after years they will lose the ability to do this eventually

My sense is van eck is short gdx stocks ATM
