A SENIOR staffer to Federal Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull has resigned after being charged with public indecency.

Stephen John Ellis, who is charged with two drugs possession charges, behaving offensively in public and with a charge of indecency, was bailed after a brief appearance in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
