I am interested in how the "kick-off" procedure works when drilling in hard granite. If the surrounding earth was some softer sort of sediment or whatever I can visualise the bit sliding away from the concrete and over into the softer stuff.
This must be harder to achieve when the granite could well be harder( my thought) than the newly set concrete??
Anyone any knowledge on how this is done?
