I tend to agree that FAR may do a small shareholder based CR sooner (anytime between now and post final 2C in say August). They have time before money is needed but don't want to go into appraisal underfunded and vulnerable .. so they may use that time (next 3-4 months) to do a small CR and then as you suggest do a big one post successful appraisal at a higher price with institutions to fund their intention to then "keep straight on drilling"!!
I'm buying now as its cheap and to lower my average, AND will take up any CR offer.
