I hate when I go to the effort of putting together figures to help discuss real issues such as debt levels but the conversation then turns to "my neighbour has bought a new car"...
It is a fair point that not all debt is housing, but unless the point was that there is a going to be a crash in 2nd hand Landcrusier prices a little more detail and tying it back to the point at hand would be nice...
