Nice find Just.

Had a quick look at and yes grant date is yesterday however, if you have a look at the PDF attachment this new granting is a continuation of the original US patent approval published in Jul 2014 and originally filed 2010.




That is not to say that there hasn't been some amendments, changes or additions to the original published patent in 2014. The process of the tech can change and we saw some of that happen in previous patent searches earlier this year eg. one early change noted was from an original patent stating "method" to the next update being "apparatus"...that indicated a shift forwards in the process at that time IMO from an "idea" to "actual" working equip.

Ducking into a meeting now but will try have a cross match against the previous related patent lodgement and this new approval and see if anything jumps out - either way, is a relevant "new/updated" patent approval granted by the looks.
