Perhaps each case should be tried on its merits? What about the misguided ones that went there as humanitarians/medics? Impressionable minds sold on an post-war state of Islamic peace where. (and no, I don't subscribe to nor approve of this type of idiocy. I just know that young people make mistakes and are easily led to do things that they come to regret later. Some are more pre-disposed than others to be led down the wrong path whether due to genetic make-up or upbringing.)
