Akin to avoiding a Chinese import in favour of an Australian made product only to read 'imported and local ingredients.'
China has done itself no favours once again. It is the dodgiest producer of food in the world. And that's not defamatory but fact. Melamine for their infant formula is the lowest...poisoning your own babies. What would they then be prepared to offer the world?
Other countries also have short cuts.
Therefore the same rule for all. A chain of responsibility has to stop with the final importer of a product.
