I review short sale stats released by the ASX every day for my holdings and today's stats disclose that for the first time in quite a while, there was some significant short selling yesterday on the ASX for FAR of 3.85mm or 32% of turnover (excl Chi-X sales). This will clearly have had an impact on the share price and help cap it. Lets hope that this is not the beginning of a sustained effort as experienced by other oilers, like KAR, which has been battered by the shorters in the last couple of years.
