    Qld Labor is a joke.

Son works in an industry that has seen him babysitting about 40 environmental investigators since Labor won the Qld election. Most are flown in from around the state. All seem to be wankers. If it rains they take it in turns to share the few half dozen umbrellas they bring while the rest sit in their hire cars with their laptops. If you add up the airfares, the motels and expenses it would have to be into the millions of dollars. Obviously Anna, or should I say JACKIE, want to headline their achievements with the environment. They will probably win but not with a successful prosecution but because they will have probably persecuted the company to the point of them walking away. It's shocking really that the government can keep on litigating until their prey runs out of money or patience.

Queensland is on shaky ground atm and I don't mean to be alarmist. Curtis Pitt hasn't got a clue, Anna is too scared to give media interviews, Billy Gordon, booted from the ALP and now independent, is prepared to vote with the 2 Katter party guys, self-described as the new 3 amigos.... and so it goes on. Jackie Trad is preparing to swoop and to be honest I'm slightly scared of her ferocity because she is a zealot who doesn't know what the word objectivity or compromise means. I have learnt over the years that you often achieve the best results by offering the illusion of compromise. You don't get the headlines or media grabs but you do get results and the job done. I thought this may have been Anna's modus operandi, but times up and she hasn't cut it. A lot of commentators still think she's pretty intelligent but it seems to be pretty well hidden. Terry Mackenroth, a former Beattie minister, met with her weekly in the months before the election and steered her through her first few months but she's flying solo now so the rest is up to her (and JACKIE).
