Counting and limiting calories (calorie restriction) will only ever work in the short term. In a year or 2 the weight will come back with a vengeance. 1500 calories + exercise is very low and your body will probably be consuming muscle too which is not good. 1kg a week is a lot of weight to loose. There is 7,700 cal in 1 kg of fat, so that shows you how restrictive your eating is.
