Conspiracy theories abound when ppl are hurt. China has JVed with BHP and RIO years ago. Nothing new.
China DOES NOT subsidize its IO mines any more than Aust does.
The world's IO demand is around 2.5Bt, of which China accounts for about 1.2bt. About 820Mt of China's requirement is imported, 600Mt-odd from Aust.
