I try to avoid crossing forums but as you asked I will reply.

Reading SHE announcement on 31/3/2015 they have just released their design of a 1.5kW unit.
They will need to install 480 of these to equal what CWE have installed producing power and water at Garden Island.
How much space do they require between buoys, I would think enough room for maintenance vessels not to foul other buoys.
Do they have approval for any sites as yet ?
Have they installed wave monitoring devices for at least one year to know the conditions at any selected sights ?
Do they have funding ?
Have they completed environmental studies and had them approved ?
Do they have a power offtake agreement in place ?
Do they have a water offtake agreement ?
Power prices in the US are low with the exception of Hawaii.

I see SHE in the same place as CWE was many years ago.

CWE has their system up and running with sales of water and electricity to the Australian Department of Defence.

I wish SHE well, and I know that there will be room for many designs in the future like with any other thing that is manufactured.
