I have been impressed with Snowballs management over the years but one glaring omission : they have not countered the threat from the quaint (my term!) new competitiors ( eg youi ) in insurance, and the home brands (coles, nrma,and woolies etc).
The big point of difference is the claims experience - during recent flood and storm events in Qld, the experience was normally that suncorp was very good - Snowball even stated that they used times like that to build market share (hold onto more really).
However, their advertising does not target that at all! Or at least what I have seen of it.
Any comments from others?
