Jchappe, your posts have been thoughtful and consistent with fact based discussion. Although several posters here provide detailed discussion, one also senses their emotional attachment to deeply held convictions and conclusions. To be fair, childcare is important for families and society, but the level of tree hugging may be distorting reality a bit. GEM on HC is also attracting more than its share of shorter posts, which doesn't help, either. (Gee, even apparent in the header of this thread!)
