According to its prospectus, GlobalNet Asia Pacific's 'highly competitive' voice-over-internet-protocol service 'is to become Australia's leading VoIP brand for the national SME and residential markets'. But while we'd agree that the service will be highly competitive, like the many others, we can't see any reason why 'GlobalNet Red' should be the winner. Anyway, the company is hoping to raise $3m to give it a shot. The offer closes on 18 May and values GlobalNet at $8m.
