When a minister, no matter what political colour, can revoke, without appeal or review, such a basic thing as citizenship, that is a power given to no one else in this land.
the press have had reason enough to wipe the floor with pollies but choose their own agendas to suit. look what they did to gillard but chose to withhold for abbott. they will turn on abbott when it suits. what makes the you think that the press will act in your interests?
the voters are supporting the current senate in its form for a very good reason - they don't trust either party.
neither should anyone here - as such, robust checks and balances are all that we, the voters, have.
