I prefer to just call the ATO once every 3 years and ask to be audited, because I couldnt find a tax accountant that I was confident in enough to know the intricacies of share trading laws
ATO does audits for free! They are like a charity!
I also lodged a complaint against my own share trading blog to ASIC, instead of paying a lawyer $1000's of dollars to check his books to confirm that I didnt need an AFSL to have a stock market blog
