I would love to know which insurance companies are covering the private users and media organisations who might be using Drones for both surveillance or listening devices and how much their insurance premiums might be compared to those held by Cessna operators. I'm not sure but the damages claims caused Military Drones might be covered by the US taxpayer unless they exempted from.prosecution. Anyone know? Imo the risks of losing valuable camera equipment & IP would be much higher using Drone technology and anyway I still believe it is much cheaper & more reliable using Cessna aircraft with less chance of tempting gun happy Americans to attempt to shoot down any annoying low flying Drones traversing their private land.
