great post.... its about biting the bullet and being responsible for oneself.... thats scary if you hvae been brought up under a weldfare system
compare to the immigrants after the war........ work or go hungry... and work they did ... now 60 years later they are retireed and debt free with big families ( maybe) who watch each others back
these immigrant stories are inspiring ..... my in laws... worked on railway shitty shifts, worked in factories shitty conditions and shifts... all 3 kids thru UNI all got fabulous jobs .... studied their assess off
got tto be proud of what they achieved
they came to work and create a good life for themselves and their families .... and remember there was no welfare payments, they worked or they starved
