Several possible reasons that could have contributed to the run...in the main however, you might want to think new players and self preservation.
A point is reached where, accumulating cheap stock to add to your positions...and all it this entails...is no longer the best strategy.
Sometimes one needs to pay the ferryman before we cross...if for no other reason than to give him the ability to get us to the other side the way we intended.
