I guess what the gov. thinks is we have huge resource here in Aus. Why not coal if it does not bother much people and affect the election and coal in the meantime is far cheap and price has been halved over the year. Besides, we have a big COAL export port in New Castle, NSW. I picked up a few coal stocks within a year or so time frame (to avoid cross promotion, I just do not name the few here). As Japan has turned to coal, India is on the waiting line to boom the coal industry shortly I guess.
