Hilarious crazypunter. This site is littered with diatribe, but almost no one is quoting Buffet. If more people were quoting Buffet there may be a little less diatribe.

Fundamental principles tend not to change, even in the " modern era", I would suggest.

I suggest you read some serious works on the principles of investing. Perhaps "the intelligent investor" by Ben Graham, or "security analysis" By Graham & Dodd. Or if you want something a little more "modern" you might try "the intelligent Australian investor" by Leithner.

Read these, digest some of it, reflect on them, and perhaps, just perhaps, you may learn to identify diatribe.
