Wow check slide 12 of the presentation, Neopor produced by BASF, SGL and BASF working on new carbon fibre products for the automotive industry, such as the lightweight construction of the EV's of BMW...
"Demand for graphite for the thermally efficient building market potentially larger than LiB market
Expanded graphite in expanded foils is a premium priced product
Increased use as fire retardant - non-burnable, insulating layer
European building codes leading the world in design and evolution of new products "
I get the feeling that KNL is going to be the premium supplier of graphite for the German hightech industry, this is why KFW bank is going to support KNL and the development.
If I am right this is going to be so huge...
BASF is the biggest chemical company in the world (revenue: 74 billion euro).
We got Steel(TK), Carbon fibre light weight construction, actually everything which contains graphite besides batteries (SGL/BASF), now bring on the batteries with offtakes from USA/Japan ( Panasonic/Tesla(just dreaming, but why not))
