Ralph Lauren wasnt always incredibly profitable, I think GAP and BB given time could provide steady earnings... with the AUD falling though I would like to know what type of exposure ORL may have (higher expenses possibly?)

It was always hard to fill the gap left by RL, but I still think that ORL did something good with them, ran them well... and they could very well do the same with BB and Gap, their training and staff seem to be competent.

I am not investing yet, but I think the Oroton brand could be revived. Ideally I would like to see it trimmed back to the few core products, positioned as a mass-stige brand again and then sold to LVMH or L Capital as RM Williams was. If UGG can do it...

Good to see some inquisitive minds on this forum. Personally I feel prepared to start corresponding with ORL and seeing what type of responses are returned. If a few other forum members do the same they might realise that there are people out there waiting for them to succeed
