Come on fellas lets be realistic! It is not just about the value of the potential operation, it is also about the perceived "risk".
I am not suggesting that there is a significant further risk of the Eritrean Govt unilaterally raising their participation, through ENAMCO. They have already done this, increasing their holding from 33% to 50%. But there is a PERCEPTION particularly in the UK newspapers, that Eritrea is not a very nice place for workers. There was talk of asylum seekers FROM Eritrea in a recent article. There is no doubt that as the project progresses, particularly as earnings are shown to be relatively high, that the value will be reassessed. In the meantime, it may be a long slog (unless it is taken over!) I smile when people compare it to a UK operation.
