Torrington is where i go fossicking and there are arear's where i have found apart from named locations
Lets put it this way KRB should do well if it gets the green light from greenies
There has been a stop in a couple of arear's awhile ago on 2 species of critters one was a frog and the other a lizard of sorts I recall
That was around highland home BETWEEN BUTLERS RD and duck creek rd and the one that leads off to the old Pacific copper rd down from the Bismuth mine and fielders hill which are north /n west of Highland

There is some where in the vicinity of 1000 registed locations where shafts/ holes/open etc of some type of mining was done in the torrington area Just need to have a look at MINDAT

The old Emerald mine has just been filled in resently like 2 weeks ago

Smokey quartz/ citrine / candle wax quartz/ topaz/ beryl/ emerald/ wolframite/ muscovite/ biotite/ monazite/arsenopyrite/ casiterite and in crystal form and pyrite crystals/ schorl/ tormaline and the list goes on
