Ann: The a2 Milk Company receives an expression of interest, page-5

I've been keeping an eye on this company since it listed...the thing holding me back from purchasing has been my thought that a CR would be on the cards in the near future, and now it is confirmed in this announcement that it was going to be imminent if not for this expression of interest. The fact that this company listed on the market without raising any additional capital at the time (correct me if I'm wrong), suggested to me that it must be a high chance of happening within the first few months, or why else list on the market if not to have access to additional easy capital. This announcement is surely welcome news to current holders. Will be interesting to see what it does today with so little detail provided, and the thought that if the takeover doesn't go ahead, a CR is around the corner. The usual premium that comes with a takeover however would be well worth that risk though IMO
