News: MZI Resources appoints chief financial officer

Soon to be mineral sands producer MZI Resources (ASX:MZI), has appointed John Westdorp as chief financial officer, commencing immediately.

Westdorp has previously held roes at Centaurus Metals, OptiroCapital Pty Ltd and Murchison Metals.

Trevor Matthews, managing director, commented:

“John’s extensive financial management expertise will be a tremendous asset for MZI as we look beyond the commencement of production at our flagship Keysbrook mineral sands project later this year.”


Keysbrook construction on schedule and budget

MZI Resources will become Australia's next mineral sands producer from the Keysbrook project in the December quarter 2015.

The project's construction is on schedule and on budget, with 65% complete.

First sales are expected early in 2016, producing over 95,000 tonnes of leucoxene and zircon products annually.
