What a joke.., page-4

Geez Louise, If this is what passes for news at The Echo, I am glad its not one of my internet favourites. If I was the editor of this site, I would hang my head in shame. If I was the journalist, I would expect to be sacked. After being shown the door, I'd then think hard about a career as a fiction writer. Clearly I have some skill in embellishing and bringing to life a story that rates less consideration than the time it takes for light to pass through the void located between my ears.

A story to put in my portfolio to trot out when I apply for a job at a real newspaper - I think not.

Are people that stupid to believe there is more to this story than what it is - cement.

What will make their front page next. - a page 1 and page 2 "scoop" of a dreadlocked Ninby Council worker wearing a full hazmat suit, (the fire brigade on site, a police cordoned perimeter and all of the major networks hovering overhead in choppers), cleaning up a toxic semi solid "deposit" in the main street, whereby the depositee's actions were witnessed by many onlookers who are later revealed as "experts" in the field of analysing such toxic spills for their potentcy and all things nasty, potentially the knitting nannas, which once forensically analysed at a much later date, proves to be dog poop.

Unbelieveable.

The pool scene from the movie Caddy Shack comes to mind. Now that's more worth of a one page story than this.
