Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) and Talisman Mining (ASX:TLM) have both gone into trading halts late this afternoon, about an hour before the close of trade.
Could there be another discovery near DeGrussa? Sandfire has been drilling at the Monty prospect and recently intersected massive sulphides, which is just 10 kilometres away.
Talisman said it requested the halt pending exploration activities at its Springfield Project (which Monty is a part of), with Sandfire just saying exploration assay results.
Sandfire has the right to earn up to a 70% interest in Talisman’s Doolgunna Projects by the expenditure of $15 million on exploration.
The halt will last until the opening of trade on Friday 26th June 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
