The first honest interesting view from someone who lives within the vicinity of the proposed mine, thanks for sharing.
The whole Toodyay, Victoria plains region is attracting a lot of interest. I worked on a large JV Magnetite Exploration project in Yerecoin, New Norcia and Calingiri with Cliffs Natural Resources. Also Magnetic Resources and Radar Iron are exploring for copper, Iron deposits. Bauxite has a far better chance of gaining approval as Magnetite and low grade Cu mines are usually large, very deep and generally the pit isn't rehabilitated. Bauxite on the other hand, is stripped, mined to a shallow depth and fully rehabilitated and the land can be farmed again in the future.
